Each year, Pantone picks a Color of the Year that sets the tone for what’s next. For 2025, it’s Mocha Mousse — a soft, earthy neutral that feels instantly cool and easy to live with. It’s that color you start seeing everywhere — from your latte to your living room — and it just works.
Mocha Mousse gives major cozy-meets-chic energy and looks incredible with the right flooring, whether you’re into natural wood vibes or something more plush.
Grounded + Gorgeous: Luxury Vinyl With a Twist
For spaces where you want everything to feel pulled together (without trying too hard), luxury vinyl floors are seriously good. When luxury vinyl is done well, the textures look real, the finishes are flawless, and the tones pair perfectly with Mocha Mousse walls or furniture.
Keep it minimal with soft beige planks or go bold with deeper tones and statement patterns. Either way, it’s giving Pinterest dream home.
Soft Spot: Carpet That Feels As Good as It Looks
Some rooms are just made for cozy moments — think movie nights, Sunday mornings, or hanging with friends. That’s where the perfect carpet comes in. The best carpet is soft, touchable, and comes in the prettiest tones that totally complement Mocha Mousse. Plus, let’s be honest, we need it to be easy to clean (don’t worry — we’ll get to that).
Try mixing shades: creamy walls with caramel tones or deep mocha floors with lighter decor. It’s an easy way to make your space feel pulled together and fresh.
Mix, Match, and Move
Homes with character are on-trend, and they have a little of everything — smooth wood in the kitchen, soft carpet in the bedroom. Mixing and matching both styles makes your home feel connected but never cookie-cutter.
Made To Handle Real Life
Spills, pets, kids — we need floors that can handle it. The best floors should be durable, low-maintenance, and built to stay beautiful. If you don’t want to stress about your floors (who does?), then you want to be on the lookout for floors with easy upkeep.
Your Space, Your Style
Mocha Mousse isn’t just a trending color — it’s the vibe right now. Warm, wearable, and easy to make your own. Paired with Karastan® flooring — whether luxury vinyl with LuxeCraft Serenity™, laminated wood with BelleLuxe™, or carpet with Karastan Black Label — your flooring brings major personality to any space, no matter your style.
