Just as the world around us begins to cool down, things in the Karastan design world are quickly heating back up, courtesy of last month’s Spice Market Collection debut. This sultry new collection is truly one with global appeal, as the Karastan design team merged stunning style influences taken from around the world. Woven on Van De Weile looms at Karastan’s location in Eden, North Carolina, each design features original cultural inspired artistry, one-of-a-kind details and a rich palette of Mediterranean derived hues and deep jewel tones. Crafted with EverStrand, Karstan’s premium polyester fiber produced from up to 100% post-consumer content from plastic bottles, Spice Market rugs offer an irresistible soft touch, inherent stain resistance and brilliant color clarity. Take a look at a couple of our favorites from the collection so far!
Featured above is the Deir in Aquamarine. Aquamarine blue is the inspiring backdrop for a collage of tribal elements in Deir from Karastan’s Spice Market Collection.
Featured above is the Palmyra in Tobacco. In this distinctive Palmyra rug, stylish quatrefoils in jewel tones create a contemporary checkerboard framed with scrollwork.
