First off, Matt was amazing! Super helpful, never pressured you. Let you take your time but was very informative and helped problem solve issues. So he’s your guy. We had vinyl plank flooring put upstairs. The crew were very quick and respectful with install. They started super early which I liked because they could get a lot done in a day. There were a few things that lacked attention to detail which I’m still trying to figure out how to fix so that it’s water tight (see pics) but so far it’s durable, looks great but also affordable! Plus they didn’t put down the quarter round because we wanted to paint it first but then we ended up having our contractor put down the quarter round. They called and took off the quarter round installation all on their own. I didn’t ask for it or even think about that. Which was really thoughtful of them. The downstairs we had to have a patch job done on our floors since we took out some walls. We didn’t want to replace the whole floor (which would have cost a fortune). Well the guy our contractor was going to use said it all needed to be replaced. I was sorta just venting to Matt about it and he said well you should be able to patch it. He said I won’t make any promises and it may not be perfect but let me have our guy trey come out and look at it. Well long story short, they were able to patch it and make it look great. So many people say they can’t even tell. PLUS It was affordable. I thought we were going to have to spend thousands of dollars but it was 800 for labor and 900 for the floor (it was hardwood so more expensive per sq f). They did such a good job and saved the day! All thanks to Matt listening to me vent about our renovation problems and decided to help find a solution. He could have just said well, that does seem like a problem and left it at that. But he really went above and beyond. Super grateful to him!
