Villa Veneto (2200-206) from Karastan’s Antique Legends™ Collection Villa Veneto, which was inspired by a hand-knotted Sultanabad design, is designed in shades reminiscent of the weathered walls of Italian villas. An elegant palette of terra cotta, amber and peacock blue is combined with sumptuous, fully worsted New Zealand wool to provide the ultimate statement in relaxed luxury.
Mandara (535-16005) from Karastan’s Shapura™ Collection
Ravenna (549-15008) from Karastan’s Ashara Collection Like so many of Karastan’s classic patterns, Ravenna is inspired by an elegant hand-knotted rug. The large-scale motifs and open ground makes it a perfect showcase for Karastan’s signature “stria”, which is used throughout the Ashara Collection. Accents of amber, soft browns and cherry red add to the winning combination. Villa Veneto, Mandara and Ravenna have been approved to carry the Wools of New Zealand Brand. In addition to standard sizes, each can be hand-seamed to create custom-size rugs in a fraction of the time it would take to hand-knot and import a similar piece.
