PLANNING AHEAD: R&D

Our Research and Development (R&D) team continually assesses alternate materials and process improvements for our products and potential new products. We consider responsible use of raw materials and natural resources, design processes, and operations of all facilities. This cycle of continuous improvement allows Karastan to capitalize on technologies and efficiencies that reduce our environmental footprint. We are beginning to adopt a formal process called D-f-E, Design for the Environment. This process ensures that all new products embody the best environmental attributes possible.
