Karastan is a proud participant in Project Greenhouse, a unique platform presented by Lexus Hybrid Living that brings awareness to global issues through a lifestyle event showcasing responsible eco-luxury living. Project Greenhouse was staged at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2008 and will also open at the Hampton's Film Festival in August and in New York City for Earth Day in April.

Every Project Green house room is entirely comprised of sustainable designs, and Karastan is the sole provider of floorcoverings for the events. Additionally, Karastan carpet was the exclusive floorcovering for the set of the Sundance Channel at the film festival during its 10-days of onsite broadcasting.
